There are factors to consider: what chicken breeds are you getting, are you able to let them free range? We recommend taking a look at the measurements and seeing what you feel comfortable with, remembering your girls are only going to be in the hen house to roost and lay their eggs. We recommend up to 15 large chickens or 18 small chickens. Keep in mind the chickens share nesting boxes and stand side by side on the roosting rods!
