The Volterra hearth is designed in the image of hearths open on all sides, however, this is just a perfect illusion. The back wall of the fireplace is an LED surface on which is projected a realistic image of a brightly burning hearth with sparks flying. The fireplace also features a sound effect of crackling logs. This series of hearths does not require fuel, the fireplace is powered by electricity.
